Scholarships
The National Association of Medical Doctors (NAMD) administers the following scholarships. Early career physicians and medical students are awarded annually from each category below.
Deadline:
Presidential Scholarship- I:
This NAMD Presidential Scholarship has been established to award early career physicians and full-time medical students that can demonstrate strong interest in any specialty or sub-specialty of medicine.
Eligibility
Early career physicians and full-time medical students with most recent coursework showing a minimum GPA of 3.5 or above. Preference will be given to NAMD members.
Stipend
The stipend is $20,000. (9 months)
Deadline:
Presidential Scholarship- II:
This NAMD Presidential Scholarship has been established to award early career physicians and full-time medical students that can demonstrate strong interest in any specialty or sub-specialty of medicine.

This NAMD Presidential Scholarship has been established to award early career physicians and full-time medical students that are specializing in the study of infectious diseases.
Eligibility
Early career physicians and full-time medical students that are specializing in the study of infectious diseases. Most recent coursework must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 or above. Preference will be given to NAMD members.
Stipend
The stipend is $20,000. (9 months)

Presidential Scholarship- IV:
This NAMD Presidential Scholarship has been established to award early career physician and full-time medical students that can demonstrate strong leadership ability during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
Eligibility
Early career physicians and full-time medical students that have demonstrated strong leadership ability during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Most recent coursework must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 or above. Preference will be giving to NAMD members.
Stipend
The stipend is $20,000. (9 months)
